I am in a whirlwind of cute right now. Spent a fairly mild December lunch at work wandering around the lovely Christmas market in Stratford-upon-Avon. It was so difficult to restrict myself to only buying presents as there were so many lovely stalls. I did have to stop myself buying things ‘for Little Pickle’s Dad’ just because I liked them – a habit I need to stop doing!
I particularly loved the beautiful prints by Roni P, a local artist whose selection of pictures was just my cup of tea! If I’d have had the spare money in the bank, I’d have treated myself to a fair few but luckily, I’ve since found her website so can treat myself maybe next payday. I particularly have my eye on this one: The Happy Jolly House. Perfect for our new home! Do check out her website: http://www.roni-p-art.com
But… that’s not what this post is about. I have now purchased my first item of baby clothing for Pickle. Perhaps a little bit weirdly, it’s not really an item of newborn-baby clothing and it’ll probably be several months after Pickle’s born before they can wear it… but it’s just the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t stop myself.
I’m hoping it’ll start to fit from 6 months onwards which will be perfect timing for over next Winter. I love the colours and the I love animals and I love how unique and different it is. AND I LOVE THAT IT’S HANDMADE. I hold handmade items in ridiculously high regard so this just ticks all the boxes for me.
I can imagine it’s not to everyone’s tastes, but I just love it. It makes me all excited to get Pickle dressed up in winter clothes and Wellington boots and go outside to splash in puddles.
