Even though I’ve been out of school for what feels like forever now, I still get the summer holiday feeling during August. It becomes ingrained, doesn’t it? You can almost smell the promise of new stationery! Even if your little one isn’t at school, September can often bring changes – if not a new school class, perhaps a new room at nursery or moving up in a baby class. To celebrate this new milestone, and following on from the success of my last big giveaway, I’m delighted to be offering a new competition on Little Pickle’s Mom – this one is designed to make all your starting or back to school prep that much easier.
Once Upon a Time Book Bundle
We’re big fans of the Once Upon a Time Book bundles here, and we’ve had a few of them over the last few months. This business is run by Kelly, a Mum herself with a degree in Early Childhood Studies – and she knows her stuff. She perfectly puts together bundles that are not only age appropriate, but help to develop your little one with a selection of books that will really enable them to progress. Her Starting School bundle is no exception, and includes some fantastic titles to help your little one not only work on their reading and writing but also think through some of the emotions relating to starting school. Something that might not just alleviate your child’s worries, but yours too! It’s a big old emotional time for everyone, eh? I’m delighted to be offering one of these bundles are part of the Back to School giveaway prize, and it includes eleven wonderful books.
Little Life Backpack
If you haven’t come across the Little Life backpacks yet, where have you been hiding? Their backpacks are super cute, right from toddlers up to older children and they come in a range of designs: classics, animals or characters. The winner will be able to choose their own children’s backpack, suitable for children from three years and over. These backpacks are designed with fun and style in mind, as well as safety. The large grab handle on the back means as a parent, it’s easy to quickly stop your little one from getting in harm’s way.
We’re about to try out the toddler Tigger backpack with Pickle and I absolutely can’t wait to see him toddling around in it on holiday. I’ll definitely be reporting back to let you know how we get on! I’m a little bit obsessed with anything Disney at the moment (having a child is a good excuse, right?) and I’m having to resist the urge to dress him head to toe in his Tigger outfit whilst wearing this. That’d be too much… or would it?
GiftPup Personalised Notebooks
Surely the best thing about returning to school is getting new stationery, right? And for me, I always used to get excited about notebooks, which is why I’m really pleased to have these personalised notebooks in the giveaway bundle from GiftPup.
The winner can choose their very own personalised notebook from the GiftPup range, complete with the name personalisation of their choice. I can vouch for the quality of these – they really do look the business. These two have been especially made for my foster brothers. I choose one with plain paper and one with lines, and the quality of the paper in both is really good. No nasty flimsy see-through paper here! Yippee.
Born Gifted Pencil Tin
And if a personalised notebook wasn’t enough, the prize bundle also includes a personalised pencil tin from Born Gifted. I picked out this lovely dinosaur tin (because I’m pretty obsessed with dinosaurs at the moment) for my foster brother, and I love that it comes with ten coloured pencils too. Keenan LOVES drawing, so this pencil tin with his plain paper notebook from GiftPup makes for the perfect combination. Born Gifted also do a range of personalised pencil cases that come with personalised pencils too. No longer can your mate steal your red crayon and pass it off as his own! Perfect.
The Hedrin Range
No parent’s back-to-school arsenal is complete without some nit treatment. Those pesky little things show no mercy, but Hedrin are offering their full range to the lucky winner so they’ll be well equipped to deal with any outbreaks: Hedrin Once, Hedrin Protect & Go, Hedrin Stubborn Egg Removal, a Hedrin Comb and Hedrin Treat & Go.
I’m hoping it’ll be a while before I’m having to make use of nit products, but I’m guessing it’ll happen sooner than I’d want it to. It’s making me itchy just thinking about it. You too? Sorry.
Find Me a Gift Bento Lunchbox
This lovely Bento lunch box set from Find Me a Gift is perfect for school packed lunches. The compartments make it easy to store different foods and keep everything nice and safe. I can’t even tell you how many times I had to clean out squished bananas or oranges from the bottom of my school bag – this would have solved all my problems. And I think we can all relate to the stages of food-related emotions… I’m tempted to buy myself this set just for me! This set will be winging its way to the lucky winner – and I hope you share with me your favourite packed lunch items. I’ll definitely be needing some packed lunch inspiration when the time comes for me to do Pickle’s lunches.
Naturelly Magic Jelly
Naturelly have teamed up with Ben & Holly to create this magical jelly inspired by Nanny Plum and her jelly floods. It’s really handy to pop into lunchboxes (and would fit wonderfully in the Bento box!) and to celebrate this new partnership, Naturelly have offered a month’s supply of jelly to our lucky winner.
